U.S. Market For Office Furniture Is Expected To Experience Growth

The ever increasing use of computer technology in the office resulted in a veritable boom for the office furniture industry in the 1980s. During the first few years of the 21st entury that growth has slowed, but, according to the SBI, the office furniture industry still saw an annual growth rate of about 7% through the end of 2007.

In spite of the rate of growth in recent decades, uncertainty about current economic conditions and the construction of new offices have left office furniture manufacturers in doubt as to expectations for growth in the near future.

SBI analysts expect the office furniture industry to continue growing over the next few years which will come as good news to office furniture manufacturers.
