New Ikea Store Coming To Tampa This Summer

Around 400 jobs are coming to the Tampa area and recruitment to fill the positions has already started. Ikea will be opening a new store in the area this summer. The new store will be the third Florida store for the home furnishings giant and will make their 37th stores in the U.S.

The store will span over 350,000 square feet and is being built on a 29 acre lot at the Crosstown Expressway and Adamo Drive. Applications are being taken for all of the positions at the store ranging from food service, stocking and home furnishings.

Ikea has over 290 stores around the world and is getting ready to open one in February in Charlotte, N.C. All of the jobs available at the new Tampa area store are posted online at their website.
