Nautica Apparal To Produce Furniture Line

Nautica Apparal and Starmount Home Furnishings recently signed a licensing agreement for Nautica to produce a broad line of furniture. The new line will feature wood, upholstered products, ready to assemble items for the dining room, bedroom and living room, as well as metal furnishings.

The new Nautica Collection is set to be introduced in October and will feature two lifestyle groups that will consist of 96 wood items and 40 upholstery furnishings. The launch of the new collection will take place at the High Point Marget and the products should be in the stores by spring.

Henderson, one of the collections lines will be casual contemporary and have a soft finish, while another one the Governors Island will be done with a nautical but elegant feel. None of the financial terms were disclosed by either party.
