Mattress World Acquires 7 Mattress Gallery Stores

Mattress World has acquired seven stores that were formerly Mattress Gallery in Indiana. The company which owns a 22 store chain of bedding shops plans to convert the seven stores to Mattress World stores.

The stores were formerly own by Today’s Bedroom One and were only closed about one month ago. The retailer was forced into receivership and is in the process of being liquidated. Mattress World co-owner, Karry Allison says that the stores should be reopened by the middle of June.

Jeff Hanna who was a co-owner of the bankrupt stores will be serving as director of operations for the newly opened bedding stores. The new stores will be carrying the same line of products that the Michigan stores offer such as Sealy, Simmons, Tempur-Pedic and Five Star.
