Las Vegas Market Putting More Emphasis On Green

At the next show which runs from February 1-5, the Las Vegas Market plans to continue emphasizing sustainability with the new green initiatives. The market’s One Good World program will be expanded to include a locater for  supplier’s called One Good Guide.

The guide will help buyers find suppliers of legitimate sustainable products who will be placed in a special section of the directory. Companies that wish to be listed in the guide will be required to submit an application that includes declarations about wood sourcing, transportation, material usage, foams used in their products and VOC emissions.

In addition to being placed in a special section of the directory, participants will get showroom signage and window decals that will help to call attention to their status as a supplier of sustainable products. They will also get public relations support and online marketing.
