Investor’s Purchase Norwalk Furniture

Employees of Norwalk Furniture finally received some good news, they may soon be back at work! The company has finally been purchased by around a dozen local investors. The purchase only included the assets held in Ohio and will not effect the Tennessee and Mississippi factories.

The new company called Norwalk Custom Order Furniture has already began taking applications for the newly formed company. The company is  expected to hire from 150 to 200 employees. And, while the application process is good news, there’s no guarantee that any of the former employees will get their old jobs back.

Even though some of the former employees has accumulated decades of job time with the old company, everyone hired at the new factory will be considered new hires. None of the former owners remain a part of the new company that was purchased for $2.5 million.
