Rumors about pending layoffs in this Zeeland, Michigan furniture manufacturing company have proven to be true.

The layoffs have been done gradually with about 50 workers being let go over the last several days. Naturally, many employees have been very nervous and apprehensive about the rumors and still wonder how many more jobs might be cut.

Brian Walker, a company CEO, said that the reduction in the company’s workforce along with other changes being made in the way the furniture company is operating will result in a savings of between 25 to 30 million dollars per year.
