Global Living, a prestigious furniture store located in Columbus, Ohio has shut down it’s business due to financial problems. The store has been in operation in the Grandview location since 2004.

The First Merit Bank of Akron, Ohio seized control of Global Living’s inventory on October 26, about one week ago, when Global Living defaulted on it’s loan of 1.25 million dollars.

Reginald Jackson, a lawyer for the bank, stated that the financial institution would not make a comment about the details of the action and added that no plans had yet been made as to what would be done with the furniture store’s inventory.
