Furniture Brands International has signed a contract with AT&T to upgrade it’s network service to the newer Multiprotocol Label Switching, or MPLS.
With MPS a company can be more secure when users access the Internet as the connection is made through a dedicated and secure Internet port or circuit.
In the near future we should expect to see much more widespread use of MPLS. Not only are there many advantages, but there is a cost savings of up to 40%.
Furniture Brands sells over two billion dollars in furniture per year, now they expect to keep more of their money by reducing their expenses.
