Devon Office Furniture Consolidating Operations

Devon Office Furniture, a Pennsylvania based manufacturer and distributor of office furniture will soon be shutting down it’s operations in New York, Texas and Florida. The company plans to consolidate all it’s operations into one location in Chesterfield, South Carolina.

The 80,000 square foot facility that was previously Chesterfield Manufacturing will be used for minor assembly jobs and domestic distribution. Hiring for the new facility will begin right away and it is expected to generate as many as 20 new jobs in the area over the course of the next five years.
