Chomcraft Furniture Announces More Layoffs And Closings

Chomcraft Furniture has announced that it will be laying off 150 workers and closing it’s manufacturing facilities in Delphi, Indiana. The closing and associated layoffs are expected to take place by the end of May.

The West Lafayette, Indiana based furniture company has reported a net loss of more than eight million dollars for the last quarter of 2007. This loss equates to 1.84 per share.

Chomcraft has recently closed down or sold it’s facilities in Tennessee, North Carolina and South Carolina.
