Charleston Ashley Furniture Store Gets Second Chance

The closed Ashley Furniture Home Store in North Charleston is getting revived! A Florence based merchant plans to reopen the empty store the middle of February after some renovations.

Burk Parrott, already operates three outlet stores in South Carolina and will open the store next week to sell all of the remaining items left by the previous owners. The store still contains some pieces of furniture and home accessories such as fake plants, vases and other home decor items.

The store was abruptly closed on December 31, by Compass Furniture. The closing cost the jobs of 14 employees who will now be offered employment at the new store. Once the remaining inventory is sold, the store will be once again closed to undergo cleaning, painting and to be restocked with new items.
