Ashley Furniture Promises To Deliver Overdue Orders

Several hundreds customers who had pre-paid for furniture products arrived at the Ashley Furniture Store in Santa Maria, California to pick up their merchandise were surprised to find that the store had unexpectedly closed.

The store has been closed down since November 14. Two days later they placed a notice on the door stating that the store would be back open on the 18th, but since that time the store has never re-opened and according to company officials there are no plans to do so.

Officials from the Santa Maria furniture store have released a written statement which included a promise to make good on the orders that were paid in advance by these customers.
