Koncept Analytics has just released a report detailing its findings in a study on the worldwide furniture market. According to the report, which was focused primarily on the market for office furniture, the market has seen a steady growth period since 2000.
The largest growth was seen in the residential furniture market, with office furniture following in close second place.
It seems that we are seeing different viewpoints on the current conditions in the furniture industry these days. Some studies and reports are showing bad news for the industry while others seem to indicate that things are looking up. Manufacturers who are committed to high standards and sound management practices will be the ones who will be likely to thrive in the coming years.

Allstate Insurance is remodeling and upgrading its offices across the United States. Instead of sending their used office furniture to landfills they have decided to donate the furniture to those in need.
To facilitate the donations Allstate has teamed up with Green Solutions North America Inc. which is a group that is devoted to helping companies to be more environmentally responsible while at the same time helping charities and organizations who are in need.
