June 28th, 2008 at 11:40pm Under The Office

These days many people are using laptop computers instead of the standard desktop PC. If you are one of those people then you should consider getting yourself a laptop computer drawer for your desk.

The laptop computer drawer is the best furniture accessory you can get if you are a laptop user. It is attached to the underside of your desk in the same way as a keyboard tray, but it is specially designed to hold a laptop computer.

The laptop computer drawer provides both a resting place for your laptop and a storage place when it is not in use. The laptop computer drawer can even be locked so you know your laptop is secure when you have to be away from your desk.

All chairs are not created equal and the same chair might not be the best for every situation. For use with a desk you should take a look at the Versa Task Chair. If you need a chair for an artist or anyone who will be using a drafting table take a look at the Versa Drafting Stool. For chairs to be used in waiting rooms or reception areas I would recommend the Stack Chair, Guest Chair, or the Contemporary Chair.

Your Staff Shouldn’t Have To Work In Uncomfortable Chairs

June 22nd, 2008 at 04:08pm Under The Office

You wouldn’t want to spend your day at work sitting in an uncomfortable chair so you shouldn’t expect your staff to do it either. Remember, the level of comfort that your staff enjoys while performing their tasks has a lot to do with how effective they will be.

Take a few minutes to walk around your office and examine the condition and quality of the chairs your workers are sitting in. Are they comfortable with good lumbar support? Are your employees able to adjust the height position of their chairs? All people aren’t the same height and it is important that everyone is able to reach their desks from a comfortable level.

Check the wheels on the chairs. Do they roll smoothly? If not, and your chairs are otherwise in good condition, you should consider purchasing some replacement wheel kits.
